Round 15: POTR & Weekend Wrap-up

With the club ramped up for the final round of the men's season, we went into the weekend with some fantastic sides named, some legacy players returning to play a game and 4 teams, eager to take it right to our opponents... and then the weather happened.

Thanks to endless rain overnight, 3 of our 4 sides were cancelled, leaving our 4th XI the only side to take the field to finish off the season on a high... and boy did they deliver!

As the season has now concluded, this weeks player of the round, the executive committee will should a drink at presentation night in lieu of no more dinners after training!

Bowling:

7 overs, 2 maidens, 6 wickets for 16 runs

SPECIAL MENTION goes out to Paul Chalker who batted the entire 35 overs and made 45 runs... and then backed it up by opening the bowling with 7 overs straight up!
