With the roadmap published by the Victorian State Government on Sunday 19th September, Richmond City has the following information from Cricket Victoria to share with its members!

The roadmap presented to the community by the Victorian State Government on Sunday the 19th of September kicked Cricket Victoria into action to help us launch the 2021/22 Season.
The Richmond City Cricket Club Executive Committee has been working closely with the ECA and Southern Bayside Cricket and is able to present the following to our community with regard to the official start of the 2021/22 season.

TRAINING:
STAGE 1: 80% single-dose vaccination - expected to be reached in days from this post.
- Matches are not permitted
- Club sanctioned or organized training is not permitted
- Personal training is permitted with a maximum of 5 fully vaccinated players gathering to exercise (including cricket) outdoors on ovals and at outdoor cricket nets.
This rule reflects the current "picnic" rule and players are free to train with at least 4 others on their own. In no way can this training be officially organized by the club.
Stage 2: 70% double dose vaccination in Victoria - which is expected around October 26th, 2021.
- Official club training will be permitted
This will mean that we can train with no official size limited - however, we do expect that there will be guidelines around training groups so please expect training to look like it did last year with people working in team allocations rotating through workstations around the ground and in the nets.
- Change rooms and social rooms will remain closed (except for toilet access)
- Centre wicket training and match simulation training will be permitted HOWEVER interclub practice matches or training sessions are not permitted
Stage 3: 80% double-dose vaccination in Victoria - which is expected around November 5th, 2021
- Full training is permitted with no group size limit
- Indoor cricket training is permitted with up to 150 people maximum and a 1:4sqm capacity rule
- Change & Social rooms including the canteen will be open with density rules.
MATCHES:
Matches will be permitted when we reach 80% double dose vaccination - which is expected to occur on or around November 5th, 2021.
